When you cross over the artic circle and continue north it's like your body is programmed to heighten your senses. Your heart is racing and excitement is rolling through your blood! Nature must feel the same rush as it toughens up and goes bare and minimalistic - ready for survival. The light around you however seems to do the opposite - it softens up and goes crazy in color, as if to balance-out the toughness of the surroundings. It's a dream landscape that keeps surprising you with weather changes, breathtaking views and bendy roads. We jumped on a 1960s VW camper and set out on a roadtrip in the artic landscape of the very top of Norway. Timing was perfect; late September, just in the gap between summer and autumn - colors where going insane, as every branch, flowe and tree bid the light farewell and prepared for the wall of darkness that would soon surround them.
